April 9, 2019 brings us a modest helping of book releases. I can’t even tell you how excited I am to read them.
However, I have to express some frustration as well. You see, my book release list is a living document. If I see a book I want to read, I add it to my list. Problem is, this week over half of the books I expected to be pre-ordering weren’t even available on retail sites.
For that reason, todays list is a bit shorter than usual. But I’m a big believe in qualit over quantity and I have no doubt the books on this list are high quality. Two of them were even on my most anticipated spring book release list. I can not wait for them to arrive on my Kindle.

A family wedding with a fake boyfriend, meddling parents, and an obsessive ex . . . What could go wrong?
The only thing worse than being single at my sister’s wedding is finding out that my ex will be there too. Not just any ex—the guy everyone expected me to marry, the man I came to Jackson Harbor to escape.

PRO TIP People often ask how I can afford to read so much. Books are expensive! Kindle Unlimited is one of my secret weapons. For a monthly fee I have access to more books than I could ever read.
The best part is, some of the books on this list are available through the service.
Aubrey Reynolds is a small-town girl who’s made it big. A successful Hollywood director, Aubrey doesn’t have time to linger on what could have been. But when a routine blood test comes back with a false positive, she decides to take some time off to do the things she’s always wanted to do: taste the famous chocolate chip cookies at the Minnesota State Fair, hike the Grand Teton National Park, scuba dive in the Caribbean. But after Aubrey admits to herself what she’s really missing, she heads back home to Dusty Valley, Oklahoma . . . and the man she left behind.
Cole Haywood is a small-town fireman and that’s just fine with him. Read More

Talk about an embarrassing introduction. On her first day of law school, Kailyn ran – quite literally – into the actor she crushed on as a teenager, ending with him sprawled on top of her. Mortified to discover the Daxton Hughes was also a student in her class, her embarrassment over their meet-cute quickly turned into a friendship she never expected. Of course, she never saw his betrayal coming either…
Now, eight years later, Dax is in her office asking for legal advice. Read More
Do you prefer audio books? Perhaps you would love to give them a chance if they weren’t so darn expensive? I love the audible romance package. For a monthly fee, I get access to more romance audiobooks than I could possibly ever listen to.

I’ll be honest, short of Tillie Cole’s Hades Hangman series, I’m not usually a fan bikers or bad boys in general. But, I adore the secret identity trope. And, I loved Lani Lynn Vale’s Code 11-KPD SWAT series. As soon as I read the blurb, I knew I would be reading this one. I don’t say that lightly, this is a big commitment for me, it’s book 9 in a series. But I’m looking forward to a long weekend spent binge reading all the previous books.
