New Release Books (February 12, 2019)
February 12, 2019 is certainly a day worth marking on your bookish calendars. I can’t believe how many amazing books are set for release this week!
Seriously, I don’t know how I’m going to read them all! Does anyone have a time machine I can borrow?
I’m especially excited for Motion by Penny Reid. This books was announced literally years ago and is just getting published. It’s actually book one of a three part series that will be released over the next few months.
I was lucky enough to recieve an advanced copy of this one and my goodness, like everything Penny Reid writes, it’s amazing. But, it ended on a cliff hanger which means I’m not so patiently waiting for the next installment.
Don’t forget to follow me on Goodreads to see all my reviews and stay up to date on what I’m reading at any given time.

So much for senior year being the best part of high school.
It all started when I caught my boyfriend cheating on me.
I did what any girl would do—I got revenge. Of course, it didn’t stop there. Thanks to a condemning video, I also got eight weeks of community service and athletic probation right before basketball season is supposed to start. (There goes my spot as captain!)
Thankfully, there’s a guy at Marlowe Junction’s Helping Hands who makes passing the time more enjoyable. He’s gorgeous, funny, and a huge basketball fan.

As with every Penny Reid book, I absolutely adored this one. However, this ends of a cliff hanger. Not a big deal, I knew that was going to happen when I went into the book. It’s only a month before the next book is released but my goodness, I just can’t wait. I need to know what happens right now.

Yes, Sawyer, I certainly agree with you. The older I get, the more I want to read about people of my own age, those who have had the time to take chances, fail, succeed, develop new passions and fight for them. This is exactly why all the romances I write have older heroes and heroines — as well as older, cranky or amusing secondary characters. Until recently, publishers always refused to accept romance books with older heroes and heroines. Now, thank goodness, that has changed somewhat, although it is still more difficult to get such books published. It’s about time that everyone accepted that falling in love can happen at any age — and it’s probably even more exciting when the two lovers are interesting and experienced.
