I Could Pee on This… and other poems by cats
I Could Pee On This provides a rare glimpse into the mind of the mysterious cat. If you’ve ever wondered why your cat is looking at you that way, or what it’s thinking when it meows for minutes on end, this book is for you.

I Could Pee on This, I’m just going to stress this thought is pretty much only appropriate if you’re a cat (or dog). So I don’t want to be hearing any stories about how you have this thought every Saturday night when you’re walking home after a few too many drinks … Actually, you know what, I changed my mind, drunk stories are the best, please share!
Two years ago, my hubby and I adopted the most beautiful cat in the world. Her name is Vegas, she’s adorable and the best cat ever, if anyone was wondering. Anyway, she’s a total diva, a bit of a drama queen but she thinks she’s God so it all fits.
As first time parents to a rather rambunctious kitten we found we had a lot of questions regarding her behaviour. Why is she doing that? Is it normal? Unfortunately, answers weren’t easy to come by.
For Christmas that year, my brother gifted me this lovely resource manual for my cat. Let me tell you, it cleared up so many of my previously unanswered questions.
One of my favorite new pieces of knowledge is that my cat speaks in flawless rhythmic and often rhyming prose. It’s great to know because it completely explains why she meows for 5 minutes just to say good morning. I’ve always imagined she would have a posh Irish accent if she ever learnt to speak English. So it’s awesome to know she’s such a wonderful poet. If you read these poems with an accent they’re just so much funner. Try it.
I Could Pee on This is a must for any cat lover. It’s a cute little book with colourful pictures and funny poems any cat owner will relate to. It’s one of the few books I leave on my coffee table as it’s a great conversation piece when people come over.
Anyone know of a good book on getting your cat to pose for photographs?

I absolutely love cats. I have two right now, but at one point I had 5. Yes, crazy cat lady here. I can tell you they are mysterious and wonderful. However, don’t disrupt their time space continuum. That is unless you want them to pee or throw up on something you like.

Oh my gosh, 5 cats! That sounds amazing! My cat’s a bit anti-social, she tends to hiss if another cat so much as walks past the house so I don’t think I’ll be getting another one any time soon unfortunately.

This is so cute. I ‘ve never read anything like that, I really wish there’s a book all the same for dogs😍😍😍
Sawyer
The same author wrote “I Could Chew on This – and Other Poems by Dogs,” the name isn’t quite as amusing but I bet the poems are wonderful!

This sounds like it would be a very funny book! I’m more of a dog lover than cat lover, but just thinking about how the animal might react to situations cracks me up.
Sawyer
There’s a book about dogs by the same author called “I Could Chew on This,” I don’t think the name is quite as funny but I’m sure the poems are absolutely amazing. 🙂

I would love this. I am going to buy it and it can sit next to our ‘How To Tell If Your Cat Is Trying To Kill You’ book. (I am not sharing my drunken stories. Most of them took place before camera phones! 🙂 )
Sawyer
Oddly enough I keep my next to my “How to Tell if Your Cat is Trying to Kill You” book too! I seem to be amassing quite a collection of funny cat books, they’re just so fun.

I agree! 😀

As a card carrying Crazy Cat Lady – I must have this
Sawyer
You really do need it! This book should be part of the Crazy Cat Lady starter pack.

I’m not a cat lover, not a hater either. I want to read this just because I think I might start using this expression everyday.
Sawyer
Oh wow Terri, you must tell me how it goes! I would love to be a fly on the wall and see that expression used in casual conversation. Haha.

The title of this book made me laugh!
Sawyer
Me too! As far as titles go this one is a winner.

This sounds amazing! Sadly, my cat hates me, so she probably doesn’t scream poems at me. And I think she has a Russian accent. Just because that would make the angry screaming more threatening.
Sawyer
I think you need this book! You can read it too your cat and maybe she’ll stop hating you. 🙂
Eline @Lovely Audiobooks
That’s a good idea! 😀

That title is definitely an attention grabber 😂
Sawyer
Haha, it certainly is. 🙂

I did a double take at the title, my mind went off and I immediately thought of the Sex and the City episode where Carrie dates the politician…if you catch my drift.
Sawyer
Haha, wow! Considering the books I usually review, I don’t blame you. It’s funny, this is probably the most innocent book I’ve ever read but it just might have the naughtiest title.

I need this! This week my one cat has decided that our couch is her new litter box.
Sawyer
You really should get this one, I’m sure you’ll be able to relate to most if not all of the poems.

That title just makes me chuckle. Cat person all the way.
Sawyer
I know, right? As far as titles go, this one is kinda awesome. 🙂

This sounds totally hilarious. I am not a cat person at all, yet this books is calling out to me
