Baseball players and baseball romance novels are rather popular in the field of sports romance. There is little doubt as to why.
Baseball like the art of romance, involves a certain amount of skill, stamina, finesse and passion. It’s not difficult to see how the game has become such a common euphemism or metaphor for relationships and adult activities.
This is probably the point where I should be honest and admit the euphemisms are essentially the only thing I know about game.
While I haven’t book-dated many baseball players, I am well versed in what makes a good book-boyfriend so you can rest assured, each and every book on this list will knock it out of the park.
Having spent the last couple weeks reacquainting myself with all the baseball players I’ve book-dated over the years I can safely say that not only is baseball a very popular summer pastime, it can also be the backdrop to steamy and engaging romance novels.

Bender by Stacy Borel This is one of my favorite books. It’s a roommates to lovers story with one of my favorite book boyfriends ever – seriously, Camden is amazing. Fair warning, after reading this book you’ll be rushing to buy the rest of the books in the series. You will but itching to figure out how all the other brothers fall in love.
Anything but Minor by Kate StewartYou will laugh so hard while reading this book. This was a very quick read, page after page, I just couldn’t put it down. Plus, this is probably one of the most visually appealing covers I’ve seen.
