New adult romance is one of my favorite sub-genres of romance. As a category, new adult romance features characters in the 18 – 25 year old age range. They’re learning how to navigate life on their own generally in university of just starting out in the working world.
These books focus on leaving home, exploring sexuality, accepting yourself and making all the big decisions you have to make in those early years of your adult life.
These books combine the struggles of being a young adult with all the angst and excitement of building a new relationship and navigating all those feelings.

I think I actually have Let’s Get textual in my kindle but have never actually read it yet. I haven’t read many new adult books but the first ones I can think of and really enjoyed (at least I hope these count) are The Bride Test by Helen Hoang, Crossfire series by Sylvia Day, Addicted to You by Krista & Becca Ritchie, Push the Envelope by Rochelle Paige.
