Who doesn’t love reading reading about a good workplace romance?
There’s something about the sexy boss… The whole relationship feels a bit forbidden and taboo which can be really hot. There is, after all, a reason why office romance is one of the most popular romantic tropes.
Whether it’s a boss falling for their employee or a heated rivalry between co-workers turning into something steamy, I love it all. These books deliver. There’s steam, passion, secrecy, and so much angst.
I’m not going to sugar coat it, we all know workplace romance is not a good idea in real life. It’s simply ill-advised and hardly ever works out – not to mention how many workplaces have rules explicitly forbidding office romance.
Nonetheless, these books are amazing and will most certainly leave you with a smile on your face.

Love Sincerely Yours by Sara Ney is one of my favorite books, ever. It had me smiling at every page and laughing at the utterly candid and honest emails that were being exchanged between a boss and anonymous employee.
Dirty Headlines by L.J. Shen You know the nightmare scenario everyone who has ever had a one-night stand has in the back of their mind? The one where you run into that person again, in the absolute worst of situations? Well, this book looks at exactly that. Can you imagine if the man you spent one steamy night with ended up being your new boss. Can you say awkward?
Hate Notes by Vi Keeland and Peneleope Ward is another book that will have you laughing out loud with every hilarious antic you see on the pages. While this is certainly a workplace romance, anyone who enjoys the enemies to lovers trope will enjoy this one too.

Great list! I’ve started and stopped so many office romance books as of late trying to find one for my May Romance Book Reading Challenge which is to read one office romance this month. I’m going to try Love Sincerely Yours as I love those authors.
